Training to Improve Product Efficiency Given to 30 Fostered Business Actors

North Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency collaborates with PT Asianagro Agung Jaya (Apical) held a hard skills training entitled "Increasing Product Efficiency Through the Use of Appropriate and Valuable Materials".

Head of the Sub-agency, Noviar Dinaryanti said this training aims to encourage small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to increase product efficiency by selecting appropriate and valuable materials.

According to her, culinary entrepreneurs today are not only required to present delicious flavors, but also to maintain cost efficiency, ingredient quality, and product value to remain competitive in the market.

"Business actors face the challenge of rising prices of supporting materials, including packaging such as plastic, which has an impact on production costs and profits," she said, Wednesday (4/8).

Noviar explained that this training was a continuation of last year's program. She encouraged participants to make the most of the training by absorbing and applying the knowledge gained.

Apical's CSR Manager, Sugiantoro, explained that this collaborative program has been running since 2020 and aims to increase the capacity of business actors, both in terms of soft skills and hard skills.

"Previously, participants were given with digital marketing and business management skills. This year, we're focusing on developing hard skills, particularly professional cooking techniques," he stated.

This training also introduces the use of solid oil (fry shortening), one of which is the Frybest product which is considered more efficient and produces better quality fried food.

"Its advantages include healthier fried foods, more attractive colors, and more economical oil use, which can increase profit margins," he added.
